When they had fullinformation about the type of cloud and the best methods of application, they would assess whether they could be applied in New Zealand. Mr McCombs said that m view of the cost and the magnitude of experimental work he did not think the Government was justified in making any minor experiments and any scheme would have to await facts from overseas. "I think the answer is a very negative one.” said the president, Mr. J. F A°sugg°stion that the chamber should seek information about experiments from overseas was adopted.
