Miss Mary Wootten To Be Received By Lord Mayor Of London

Recd. 6 p.m. London, March 29. A special provisional initial programme has already been arranged for Miss Mary Wootten ("Miss New Zealand”) when she arrives in London by air on April 13. She will be met at Poole by the president of the Royal Society of Saint George. The following day will be devoted to Press interviews and discussing film' tests with the J. A. Rank Organisation. On April 15 the is to attend a reception by the Lord Mayor of London, and on the following day the society will give a reception at which the High Commissioner for New Zealand in the United Kingdom (Mr. Jordan) will be present.

Miss Wootten will also broadcast in a 8.8. C. programme in "In Town Tonight.”
