“Three S’s” Missing In Education
“The ‘three S’s* are missing in education today—skill, speed and self-reliance. A fourth could be added—spelling.” So said a member of the Wanganui Education Board (Mr. E. R. Hodge), at a board meeting yesterday. He was referring to recent criticism of the system of education in these modern days.
