The Wellington schooner Te Hongi crossed the starting line in the Tasman yacht race this afternoon over 531 hours behind the other seven entrants which . started on Saturday morning. Despite the fact that Te Hongi will have to concede such a big start to the other entrants, ner owner. R. Markwalder, had no hesitation in deciding to take part In tne race.
