OBITUARY
MR. JOSEPHUS DANIELS. (N.Z.P.A.—Copyright.) New York, Jan. 15 The death occurred at Raleigh, North California, of Mr. Josephus Daniels, former Ambassador to Mexico (1933-34) and Secretary of the Navy from 1913 to 1921. Mr. Daniels issued the order fcwhich made the United State Navy “dry.” His edict banning alcohol from the ships is still in force.
