Earthquake Follows Philippines Typhoon

Recd. 8.40 p.m. Manila, Dec. 29. An earthquake added to the damage Inflicted by the typhoon which howled into the Philippines on Christmas night and sank the Danish motor-ship Kina. The earthquake, accompanied by a storm-lashed sea, destroyed half the town of Mauban, with a population of 15,000, in Quezon province. Property losses are estimated at 400,000 dollars, but it is reported that there was no loss of life.
