SEARCH FAILS

FORMER LEADER OF NAZI PARTY Sydney, Nov. 24 A search in three States has failed to show any trace of Dr. Johannes Heinrich Becker, pre-war head of the Nazi Party in Australia. He has been missing since he broke his parole and flew to Sydney from Adelaide last week under an assumed name. A last-minute attempt will be made in the High Court today to restrain the Commonwealth Government from deporting another German, Dr. G. E. W. Neumann, former lecturer in German at the University of Sydney. Dr. Neumann is aboard the Inter-State liner Kinambla, on his way to join the American liner General Heintzelmann. for deportation.

Dr. Neumann has a British wife, who has interceded with Princess Elizabeth for his release. He is reported to be suffering from acute nervous disorder.
