Golf Trophy Donated To Memory Of Late Mr. F. K. Turnbull
A trophy of interest to returned men has been donated to the memory of the late Mr. F. K. Turnbull. It will take the form of an embellished shield, to be known as the F K. Turnbull Memorial Trophy. It will be open to All Services, and will be played on handicap, so that all players may have an equal opportunity of winning this coveted trophy. It will be played for for the first time to-morrow (Saturday), the day of the annual Returned Services Golf Tourney, on the Belmont links. No man took a keener Interest in the founding of this tournament than the late Mr. Turnbull, and until the time of his death last year he was “O.C. Troops." __
