Question: The striker drives a ball very hard on the full, and straight back to the bowler. The bowler attempts to stop the ball but it is deflected off his hand and cannons into the wicket (at the bowler’s end) WITH THE NON-STRIKER OUT OF HIS GROUND. After breaking jhe wicket, the ball continues its flight, still on the full, and is finally caught by mid-on. Who, if anyone, is out, and how? Answer: The Striker is out— Caught. (Vide Law 22, section g).
