Recd. 8.40 p.m. London, Oct. 5. The Australian Rugby Union team heat Northumberland and Durham by 49 to nil, after leading 16 to nil at half-time.

The Wallabies were yards faster than the home playeds ,and infinitely fitter and deserved their biggest score of the tour to date. Their pack, from early in the game, dominated the set scrums and gave the backs a feast of the ball. The home tackling was woefully weak. Tries were scored tor Australia by Eastes (4), Cremin, Mcßride, Fuller, Kearney, Walker, Bourke and Davis. Allen and McMasters each converted three tries, and Alien kicked a field goal.
