Most Rangitikei County Councillors Standing Again

(S.R.) Marton, Oct. 2. With the exception of two, all prewent members of the Rangitikei County Council have agreed to stand again when the local body elections are held next month.

This was announced after the council’s monthly meeting in Marton today. Councillors who are retiring are Messrs G. L. Marshall (Otakapu) and W. Doole (Erewhon). both of whom have ’served on the council for many years. Sitting members who arc standing again are the chairman. Cr. K. W. Dalrvmple (Rangitoto Riding) and Crs. H. G. Stewart (Wangaehu Riding). A. S. Coleman (Porewa Riding’. T. C. Chisholm (Orairi Ridins), JJ. R. I, Hammond (Rangitira Riding). .1. M. B. Collier (Ruanui Riding), A. D. Mair (To Kaoua Riding) and V.
