Reed. 12.34 a.m. London, Oct. 1 Rescuers recovered 170 dead and 58 seriously injured from the wreckage of an earthquake in the village of Dowlatabad, say the British United Press correspondent in Teheran. Every house was destroyed. People are staying in the fields because the tremors are continuing. The earthquake caused severe damage in other villages, where at least 20 are dead and 50 injured.
