Persian Opposition Wants Exploitation Of Oil Resources
Teheran, Sept. 28
Prime Minister Sultaneh walked out of Parliament, followed by a number of deputies, when an Azerbaijan deputy, Emami Ahari, said that Persia would never accept an oil agreement with Russia. Ahari proposed the formation of a commission to investigate M. Sultaneh’s activities, adding that he held evidence to prove that the Government had misused money.
The Opposition also demanded the formation of a 100 per cent. Persian Oil Company for exploitation of the country’s oil resources.
