BALKAN DISORDERS
SECURITY COUNCIL THROWS OUT RUSSIAN MOTION Recd. 6 p.m. New York, Aug. 5 The Security Council last night re 1 jected, by 9 votes to 2, a Soviet resolution for the settlement of Balkan disorders.
Poland voted with Russia. * The resolution sought the withdrawal of foreign military personnel from Greece and the United Nations supervision of the economic aid granted that country. The vote was taken without debate, and the Council adjourned with no agreement on the Balkans in sight.
