YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB (0.C.) Mangaweka. July 20 Thc Mangaweka Young Farmers’ Club held a most successful monthly meeting last Thursday evening in the Guide Hall, when the president (Mr. N. Weston) was in the chair. The attendance of eighteen included four visitors from North Canterbury and one from Ohakune. After routine business had been concluded, the president reported on the last field day held at Rata recently. Other business discussed included plans for a proposed stock drive next February in aid of funds for the National Memorial. Tentative plans were also made for a field day to be held in Mangaweka next month.
