RUSSIA TO ENTER INTERNATIONAL SPORT ON LARGE SCALE

Retd. 11 p.m. Moscow, July 23. The president of the International Amateur Athletic Federation, Lord Burghley, said that Russia would be accepted as a full member of the federation when one or two formal points had been settled. He was in Moscow to help clear up these points with full authority to ratify Russia's membership, which had hyen provisionally approved at the London Congress of the international Amateur Athletic Federation in June. There were definite indications that the Soviet was preparing to enter international sport on a large scale.
