KING’S ASSENT NEXT WEEK TO MARRIAGE OF PRINCESS ELIZABETH
Recd. 7.30 p.m. London, July 23. Mr. W. J. Jordan, N.Z. High Commissioner, is expected to represent New Zealand at next week’s Privy Council meeting at Buckingham Palace, at which the King will give formal assent to the marriage of Princess Elizabeth and Lieutenant Mountbatten.
