U.S.A. NOT GOING TO INTERVENE MILITARILY
Recd. 7 p.m. Washington, July 14 The United States has no intention of intervening militarily if the_Greek Government s troops collapse before pressure of the guerrilla forces in north-western Greece, said MajorGeneral William Arnold, DeputyDirector of Plans and Operations in the War Department. “From the military standpoint, ws are sending the Greek Government only what we can make available and it can use.”
