CHANGE OF NAME. Evidently we are to become a com-nion-wcalth. That will surely be of benefit to Mr. Fraser. It will save him having to get his Scottish tongue round that word. "Dough-mini-on.* For our part, v e still say that we hate wealth being referred to as common, ARE WE IMAGINING IT? We believe that the standard of debate in the House of Reps has gone up a bit. Perhaps we are imagining it. he hope not. We hope that memoers generally will get o.t petty things, such as who had use of the wireless last, whether the newspapers gave one inch or 40 inches to a speech, personal attacks and so on. and get on with the business of the country-to-day's business, not what happened 20 years ago. We have a ver-, firm belief that it would do everybody a lot of good if t.'iev took Parliament off the air for a while, completely off, and let the members talk to themselves only. Wo feel that the Ad-dress-in-Reply debate would not last beyond about a couple of speakers, one trom each side, or maybe two. This unending play of word.-, to Use a common expression, "get- our goat!" It amounts to what it is-words'.
