MARCHING AND BAND DISPLAY, AT MARTON

(0.C.) Marton, March 19 A street march along Broadway, a quickstep display on Marton Park, ■ musical programme, and a marching display by the Broadway Girls' Marching team and the Queen Alexandrs Band, Wanganui, will be provided on Sunday. In support of the Marton Municipal Brass Band, which is in the process of being reformed, the entertainment should attract a large attendance. The Queen Alexandra Band, which' wa» runner-up in the aggregate pointe in the New Zealand Brass Bands Contest in Wanganui recently, should prove one of the best musical combinations of its type to visit Marton for some years.
