REUNION OF BANDSMEN

MEN WHO WERE OVERSEAS A reunion of returned service bandsmen of the Second and Third Divisions (Middle East and Islands) of World War II will be held in Wanganui to-morrow evening. The men are auked to parade at Foster's Hotel at 7 p.m. and march to Cook’s Gardens as a band, but it is essential that they bring their own instruments. Returned bandsmen will be under the combined supervision of the assistantadjudicator, Mr- T. J. Kirk-Burnand, Captain Claude Miller (sth Brigade Band) and Captain Dean Goffin (4th Brigade Band). The band will play while marching up Victoria Avenue. Many ex-service bandsmen are visiting Wanganui for the contests, and a good muster is expected.
