ROWDYISM AT COOK’S GARDENS

Sir,—l think it high time that the organisations staging functions on Cook’s Gardens should exercise stricter control over the “hooligan’’ clement that invariably linds its way in with the crowd. These roving, nosiy bands of irresponsibles, with their yelling and continual climbing up and down the terraces and racing from place to place, are a considerable source of annoyance and should be stopped. If these organisations want the public to support their functions, surely it is up to them to see that their patrons enjoy the show without being continually disturbed by these nuisances.—l am, etc., A. G. C.
