NEW ZEALANDER GETS POST

(P.A.) Christchurch, Feb. 24 Doctor P. R. McMahon, wool metrologist of the Department of Scientific and industrial Research, and Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, has been appointed to the position of lecturer in charge of the sheep and wool department, Sydney Technical College. In addition to organisation of new and advanced courses in sheep and wool, the appointment nvolves advisory duties with the New South Wales Department of Agriculture, and research activities in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.
