FEDERATION OF LABOUR WANTS FURTHER CHECKS.

(P.A.) Wellington, Feb. 25. Immediate action in imposing further checgs on illegal proceedings under the Land Sales Act is suggested by the New Zealand Federation of Labour in its statement on post-war stabilisation.

The Land Sales Act had already been amended in an endeavour to curtail blackmarketing and the possibility of imposing further checks on illegal proceedings, called for further action, the statement said.
