WOMAN DIES OF INJURIES
HER HUSBAND ARRESTED AUNT OF DEAD WOMAN INJURED |(P.A.) Auckland, Feb. 25 A woman received severe head injuries inflicted by a hammer, and a [throat wound inflicted by a razor from .which she died at her home at Avon- | dale to-night. Her aunt also reI reived head injuries, and was admitted to the hospital. | The husband *: the T/oman whoriied ' was later arrested. The victims were:— DEAD Mrj. Sarah Purdie Va®ey, aged 43, wife of Charles Andrew Vazey, of Avondale. INJURED Mrs. Nancy Boyd Davis, aged 63. widow, aunt of Mrs. Vazey. The first indiction of anything am’ss in the Vazey’s home came at 6.45 p.m., when neighbours heard screams. They rushed in and found the two women injured. They then advised the police, who arrested Vazey.
