GAOL FOR ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE
(P.A.) Napier, Feb. 21. Two Maoris, Terrence Rosieur and Ivan Ryder, found guilty of the armed robbery with violence of a Chinese, Loo Wing, at Clive, on October 4, 1946. were each sentenced to two years’ hard labour, followed by one j ears reformative detention. The Judge described the pair as callous ruffians.
