N.Z. FISHERMEN GOING TO CHINA AS INSTRUCTORS
(P.A.) Wellington. Jan. 30 Twenty-four New Zealand fishermen, who are going to China to lake up appointments with the Chinese National Relief and Rehabilitation Administration are leaving to-morrow on the Dominion Monarch. They are disembarking in Australia from whence they will proceed to China by air. They comprise five captains, seven engineers, and eight fishing hands, and are going to C.N.R.R.A. purely as instructors on a three months’ shortterm policy. They will instruct Chinese fishermen in the use of the western type of fishing gear, with which the Chinese are unfamiliar.
