Seizing a carving knife from a cookhouse at an air station post near the British Commonwealth Air Group at Iwakuni on Sunday a Japanese war crimes suspect committed suicide by cutting his throat. A Japanese captain, Seto Hisetaro, was one of a party of six suspects waiting transport to Hongkong where they were to appear before the War Crimes Tribunal.
