Indo-China Internal Situation Reported More Favourable
Recd. 6 p.m. London, Jan. 29. A French military spokesman said that from a militaiy viewpoint the Internal situation in Indo-China was going “very well,’’ reports Reuter’s Saigon correspondent. The spokesman added that the French controlled most of Hanoi, including part of the Chin e se Annamite quarter. French infantry and armoured units were consolidating positions on the outskirts of the city.
