ALL MOSQUITOES GROUNDED

FAULT TO BE REMEDIED FERRY FLIGHTS TO N.Z. HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED TEMPORARILY Special Correspondent—N.Z.P.A.) Recd. .15 p.m. London, Jam 8 No Mosquitoes will be ferried from England to New Zealand this month. This interruption of the schedule of delivery flights of 80 aircraft ordered by the New Zealand Government is caused by an Air Ministry order grounding all Mosquitoes. The Ministry has ordered all Mosquitoes to be inspected, due to a fault found in one being used by a squadron on the Continent. It was discovered there had been an accumulation of water along the trailing or rear edge"of a wing. This probably was caused by condensation, and might result in corrosion of any metal parts. Slight modification may be necessary.

Nobody is unduly disturbed by the cancellation of this month's flight to New Zealand, since the weather in England and India is bad at this time of the year.
