THREE PRINCESSES ARE BRIDESMAIDS AT ROMSEY ABBEY WEDDING.—The ancient Hampshire town of Romsey was en fete on October 26. T housands came from far and wide to see the Hon. Patricia Mountbatten, 22-years-old daughter of Viscount Mountbatten of Burma, married to Captain the Lord Brabourne, the Coldstream Guards, at Romsey Abbey. Three Princesses were bridesmaids, and Their Majesties the King and Queen, with other members of the Royal Family, were present, as were famous naval and military commanders who served under Viscount Mountbatten in South-east Asia, where the bride and bridegroom met. The bride, who wore an exquisite gold lame gown, brought from India by her mother, was attended by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, and Princess Alexandra of Kent, and by the bride’s younger sister, the Hon.
