LARGE SHIPMENT OF N.Z. STUD SHEEP GOING TO FALKLAND ISLANDS

Wellington, Nov. 7. One of the largest shipments or stud sheep to leave the Dominion and the first to the Falkland Islands since early in the war. will leave by the New Zealand Shipping Company’s Northumberland from Auckland on November 27. About 270 head will be accommodated in special deck pens on the liner. The shipment represents some of the best stock from stations in both the North and South Islands, and will be mainly Romneys. Some of the sheep are to go to the mainland of South America, but the majority are for the Falkland Islands.
