POLAND WANTS SPANISH ISSUE OFF SECURITY COUNCIL AGENDA

Recd. 8 p.m. New York, Oct. 30 Mr. Lange (Poland) notified the Security Council of his intention tc raise before the Council meeting on November 4, the question of removing the Spanish issue from the Council s agenda. He said numerous references to the situation in Spain were made m the General Assembly. The Polish delegation and other delegations wished to bring the resolution on before the Assembly, but were prevented by the United Nations Charter from doing so, while the question remained on the Council agenda.
