PROSPECTS FOR SUCCESS OF SHOW The entries received to date were considered to be most satisfactory. The stewards were asked to make a special canvass to obtain record entries if possible. The secretary also reported that as a result of his visit to the Hawke's Bay Show three chilled beef and eight Aberdeen Angus entries were received, while sideshows had tentatively booked £l6O worth of space for this year's show. The general committee and stewards are to form a working bee to attend at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12. to prepare the showgrounds on the racecourse for the show. As it .is expected that there will be a large increase in cattle and sheep classes, the provision of the extra pens will be a formidable task, and the committee hopes that there will be a large attendance of workers on the racecourse o n this occasion.
