PRIVATE PLANE SALES BOOM IN U.S.A.
Recd. 6 p.m. Washington, Oct. 27. Private plane sales in America are booming and the demand exceeds the supply. The Aircraft Industries Association reports that 12 personal aircraft manufacturers in September shipped 3902 planes, valued at more than 11,000,000 dollars. The output exceeded the entire production of 1939. These companies have 34,000 unfilled orders.
