SATURDAY RACE MEETINGS

FOUR FIXTURES ON TO-MORROW

Four race meetings will lie staged in the Dominion to-morrow in continuation of the spring campaign, and in addition there will be the opening day of the spring carnival at Randwick. At Hastings the Hawke’s Bay Guineas will be revived on the concluding day of the Hawke’s Bay meeting. .The Otaki meeting, opening to-morrow, will he useful as a form guide, for the Wellington meeting at Awapuni. At. To Arolia the Ralph Somers Memorial will provide a four-figure stake, and at Wingatui the Dunedin Guineas will be the second of the South I-land classics. On the other side of the Tasman chief events on the opening day at the A.J. C. meeting are the A.J.C. Derby and the Hnsom Handicap.
