BACK TO THE SADDLE
Off the scene for 12 months as a result of fracturing a leg when Brown Derby fell in the Wanganui Guineas, S. Green resumed riding at Carterton on Saturday, getting a second and two third placings. This would suggest that he will soon be back to his old form, and it is interesting to note that he has been engaged to ride Victory Bridge at Thames on Saturday.
