The .speed limit for heavy trucks those over two ions gross is revised from 25 to 30 miles an hour by Amendment Nc. 4 to lhe Heavy* Motor Vehicle Regulations, 1940, gazetted tonight. The 25 miles an hour limit v.as brought into force about 20 vears ago for the preservat’on of roads, and the raising of the Imit is in accord with the improved design of li’U' ks from this point, of view. The amcindment also provides lor the issue of separate noavv traffic licence; for trailers w here Jiis is lest red.
