The death has occurred in Auckland of Mr. Samuel Hardley, a well-known business man and director of I lardley's Ltd., and other companies. He was 83. Mr. Hardley came to New Zealand with his parents in 1863, and, later, joined the firm of Hardley and Hardley. the forerunner of the present firm. Ho was known throughout New Zealand 20 years ago as an enthusiastic bowler. He is survived by a widow, two sons and one daughter.
