STATE HYDRO-ELECTRIC EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

(P.A.) Wellington, May 27. Appointments of the chief executive officers of the State Hydro-Electric Department, which has been established under the Electricity Act passed during the last session of Parliament, were announced to-day. The general-manager is Mr. F. T. M. Kissel, the secretary is Mr. S. Roberts, formerly inspector in the Public Service Commissioner’s office, the chief civil engineer is Mr. C. W O. Turner, from the Ministry of Works, and the chief electrical engineer is Mr. A. E. Davenport, formerly district electrical engineer of the hydro-electric branch at Auckland.
