WORLD WAR n MEN IN CONTROL

An all-time record attendance of some 280 members assembled in the R S.A. Hall last night for the annual meeting of the Wanganui R.S.A. The occasion was an important one, for with membership at an the unprecedented level of 2412, and finances, in a healthiei state than at any time previously, the men of World War I who have built up the association and guided it for these many years, handed over the greater part of their control, including the post of president, to their younger colleagues, servicemen of World War H, who are now substantially in the majority.
