BRIGADIER CLIFTON
IMPORTANT BRITISH POST IN JAPAN (P.A.) Auckland, April 22. An important appointment with the British Commonwealth Forces in Japan has been given to Brigadier G. H. Clifton, D. 5.0., and two bars, M.C., who had a notable record of service with the New Zealand and Imperial Forces in the Second World War. Brigadier Clifton is now a Briga. dier General on the staff of the British Commonwealth Forces.
