EASTER BREAD

AGREEMENT TO BAKE OUTCOME OF DISCUSSION IN WELLINGTON. (P A.) Wellington, April 11. Bread will be baked on Easter Saturday if members of the Bakers' Union accept an agreement entered into to-day at a meeting between representatives of the Union, the Federation of Labour and acting Minister of Labour, Mr. O’Brien. “After discussion with the executive of the Bakers' Union, and the executive of the Federation of Labour, arrangements were entered into whereby any shortage of bread over the Easter holidays may be obviated by the bakers working on Easter Saturday,” said Mr. O'Brien this evening. “It was also decided that meetings be held to explain to members of the Bakers’ Union the agreement arrived at.”
