BIBLE SOCIETY ADDRESS (0.C.) Mangaweka. March 3. The British and Foreign Bible Society (Mangaweka branch) held its annual meeting at The Anglican Vicarage last Tuesday, with the Rev. C. J G. Samuda in the chair. General business included the appointment of Mr. Samuda as president, and Mis T. Pairman as secretary and treasurer. Seven collectors were also appointed. After general business had been completed an interesting- address on the work of the society was given by the newly-appointed organising secretary, Miss J. Innes. In the course of her talk, Miss Innes said that a new Maori version of the Bibie was now being prepared, and it was hoped tha‘ it would be competed by May. The meeting concluded with afternoon tea.
