BRITISH BROADCASTING OFFICER IN N.Z.

(P.A.) Auckland, Jan. 29. On a short visit to New Zealand, during which he will have discussions with Professor James Shelley, Director of Broadcasting, and also visit the broadcasting stations in the Dominion, Mr. N Hutchinson, British Broadcasting representative in the Pacific, arrived in Auckland from Sydney by fly-ing-boat. Mr. Hutchinson arrived in Australia to take up his duties last month and he said he expects to be away from Britain for two or three years. With his headquarters in Sydney, he will spend much of his time travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand. He will leave for Wellington to-morrow
