TECHNICAL SCHOOL EVENING CLASSES An Opportunity for Advancement Young people who have started work can continue their education at technical school evening classes. The classes are, however, not restricted to young people: they are open to people of all ages. Free places are tenable at evening classes. Classes are provided: (1) In practical subjects directly related to trade and industry. This is vocational training. (2) In general cultural subjects and in practical subjects leading to an interesting and profitable use of leisure. Through evening technical classes those who wish to advance in their present occupation can obtain the knowledge and skill which will hasten advancement, and those who seek a change of occupation can prepare for a new job. Inquiries should be directed to the principals o! technical, secondary and other schools conducting evening classes. Such schools are to be found in the larger centres and in some of the smaller towns. BSUED ST THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT —~—
