FLEW UNDER SYDNEY BRIDGE

Recd. 6 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 15. A four-engined R.A.F. Sunderland flying boat, en route for Sydney from Hongkong, via Darwin, flew under the Sydney Harbour Bridge before alight.ng at Rose Bay. The only other four-engined plane to perform the feat, which is prohibited by Civil Aviation Department regulations, was a Lancaster bomber piloted by Flight Lieutenant Peter Isaacson, R.A.A.F.
