ARAMOHO BOATING CLUB
RACES FOR CHAPMAN FOURS Five crews from the Aramoho Boatng Club entered for the Chapman fours on Saturday, when the first races arranged by the club for this trophy were held. The events were wortli watching and there was keen competition. Results were:— L. Managh (stroke), S. Schrieber (3), J. Davidson (2), C. Simonsen (bow) defeated E. Johnstone (str.), D Te Hiko (3), W. Ramsay (2), S. Jenny (bow).
I. Clark (str.), D. Simonson, J. Wilkie, R. Takarau defeated W. Jarr.et (str.), J. Heberley, T. Tuflin, R. Phillips. J. Schneider (str.), F. Coker, M. Beauchamp, R. Kendrick drew the bye.
Semi-final. Schneider defeated Managh by one length.
Final. —Schnei I nr defeated Clar*. At the start Schneider, with nis vsua. determined style, established an early lead which he had no difficulty id maintaining.
The young coxswains continue to show an improvement in their steering.
