Sydney, Jan. 8. The Test cricketers W. J. O’Reilly and S. G. Barnes have denied that they would not go to New Zealand with the Australian team at the end of the season if chosen. They were commenting on a published report that they would decline the trip, because they were dissatisfied with the expenses allowance of £1 a day. O’Reilly and Barnes said they were keen to be chosen.
