CALL PAID ON THE KING Recd. 6 p.m. London, Jan. 8. The Duke of Windsor received a visit at Marlborough House irom Mr. E. Stettimus, who is a personal friend Later, the Duke vis.ted the Foreign Office and had a long talk with Mr. Bevin.
The Princess Royal visited her brother at Marlborough House this evening, after which the Duke of Windsor drove to Buckingham Palace and saw His Majesty.
Yesterday the Duke lunched with Mr. and Mrs. Churchill.
